In our Nature Kid Elemental lessons, we will also be learning about the magical aspects of these courses. Each course is not just linked to us through the educational eyes, but through magic as well. For these course links, they are more representative of what magical attribute would be connected with the course. In Pagan culture, everything has specific magical attributes. In Paganism we call forth and harness all different types of energy. All around the Universe and within our world we can see abundance. Most link abundance to money, which is why I linked it to our tax lesson. Abundance comes in many forms not just monetary, there is mental, and physical health, love, healing, and support. Right now, we are going to be looking at the different ways we can attract abundance into our lives. Start by thinking about what abundance means to you. Abundance is welcomed into all areas of life. It can make its appearance as health, wealth, and also growth. While abundance can be called forth at any time, the new moon is the optimal time to welcome abundance. With the new moon, we are clearing energy space so that abundance has a place to go. The Universe is vast as is abundance, both are never-ending. When you view abundance view it as a shining beacon that attracts all positive growth in your life. Abundance and religion are a happy blend. Almost every religion wants those who practice it to have health, wealth, and happiness. When you "pray" you are seeking enlightenment or guidance to bring peace and harmony to your life. Like Pagans, Buddhists, and Christians we all want abundance. With faith, you are creating abundant energy for positive change. This type of magic is manifesting. You are manifesting and attracting the abundance you want in your life. While most would not think stones and minerals attract abundance. Certain stones, in particular, are connected to manifesting. Citrine, green aventurine, amazonite, peridot, and all forms of quartz are all excellent stones to help with attracting abundance. These stones help with manifesting and attracting the Universe energy for abundance. We even see the desire for abundance in the tarot. In the tarot, each card and suit have a meaning. There are four suits in the tarot. Like the tarot, every element is representative of a person's personality and actions. The Empress and the Sun card both represent abundance in a reading. The Sun card shows success and accomplishment. The Empress card shows that the querent will be blessed with abundance not just monetary abundance, but wisdom and creativity as well. Photo Credit to the Sculpture GodsNorth The deities that are associated with abundance vary depending upon which pantheon you follow. We are just going to look at only two pantheons. In the Incan pantheon, you have the Goddess Pachamama, who is believed to be the Earth Mother. The Incan people hold festivities and honored her on the Tuesday after Carnival. On Martes de challa they offer a toast to Pachamama. Traditionally the first sip of a drink is offered to Pachamama by pouring it onto the ground before the rest is drank. In the Celtic pantheon, you have the Goddess Artio. She is the Goddess of transformation, all wildlife, and abundance. The Celtic people decorate their homes with symbols of the bear to welcome abundance. “When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”

As a mom of three boys who go to public school I started to notice that some things were not being taught in detail so I decided to create lessons for them. Many of these lessons cover science, history and of information about Paganism. I share crafts for the all different holidays and cultures as ways that they can learn and have fun at the same time.
