It is important to honor each stage with some form of celebration. In the Crone stage, it is important to not just celebrate entering menopause, but also the wisdom you have acquired over the years. It is not traditional to celebrate a woman entering menopause, but as Pagans we do. You can choose to make it a family affair and invite the female members of your family. You can also invite several of her friends who are parents, or guardians. It is important to celebrate the wisdom and receive blessings from those around you. Present her with gifts that will help to enrich her spirit. This can be lotions, incense, oils, stones, or even teas. Her friends can inscribe their hopes and dreams on a piece of paper for her and give it with her nurturing gift. Celebrating our Inner CroneIt is best to hold the ritual some place that is private and has a table. This table will be your altar space. Decorate it with all the crone's favorite colors, objects, and candles. Have all the women gather around her holding hands. If alone open your hands out to welcome the supportive energy from the Goddess. Then invite each woman to name herself and her female lineage, a powerful way to acknowledge our own ancestors, foremothers, and grandmothers: “I am daughter of____, who was daughter of ____, who was daughter of____," etc. Allow this time to reflect on what this new awakening means to you. To honor the breadth of your life experience and step into the deep wisdom of your Crone-self. Once you feel you have reflected then it is time to write down any fears you have about this upcoming stage. The other strong women around you can share thier fears they had when they first entered cronehood. Allow some time to reflect on those fears then it is time to burn it. Once the paper is fully burned it is time to discuss all the great things that come with this stage. You are a wise woman, a crone, you are now ready to for this next stage. Encourage her to reflect and write about these thoughts after the ritual. “You're not getting old, you're getting better. Seniors Rock!”

As a mom of three boys who go to public school I started to notice that some things were not being taught in detail so I decided to create lessons for them. Many of these lessons cover science, history and of information about Paganism. I share crafts for the all different holidays and cultures as ways that they can learn and have fun at the same time.
