In our Nature Kid Elemental lessons, we will also be learning about the magical aspects of these courses. Each course is not just linked to us through the educational eyes, but through magical as well. I'll walk you through the course and how you can create a personal connection with each of them. In Pagan culture, everything that is magical can correspond to a certain direction, color, and specific attributes. Photo Credit: ionablissfullife7 In Paganism we harness all of the energy in everything. Everything whether living or inanimate is made up of different cells. While inanimate objects their cells are called compounds. Right now, we are going to be looking at how magick is related to the cell break-up of the Universe. Every living thing has a soul, but that does not mean every cell that makes up the creature has a soul. From tables to chairs, to trees, to animals, and of course mankind. Cells are complex and intricate living things within a larger object. Your cellular structure makes up not just your physical body, but your spiritual body as well. The laws governing both our cell structure and potential spiritual energy change when we practice magick. This alters the consciousness perception of those cells. Certain stones and minerals will harness the awakening energy towards opening your spiritual center. These stones, in particular, amplify your third eye. Moonstone, snowflake obsidian, fuchsite, lapiz lazuli, and rose quartz are all excellent stones to connect spiritually. These stones help to connect and open your spiritual center so that you can feel the Universe within you. The spiritual path is seen in the tarot. In the tarot, each card and suit has a meaning. There are four suits in the tarot. Like the tarot, every element is representative of a person's personality, life, and actions. The High Priestess card is the most significant card to represent the querents spiritual aspect to me. This indicates that you are trusting and empowered by the spiritual connection. It represents that your intuition, wisdom, and connection to the Universe are strong. In a reading it can show both manifestations and psychic ability. The deities that are associated specifically with just spirituality vary depending upon which pantheon you follow. We are just going to look at only two pantheons. In the Italian pantheon, you have the Goddess Aradia, who is believed to be the Moon Goddess. She watched all aspects of feminine power and intuition. She is believed to be the Queen of the Witches, while most of the myths about her may be connected to the Goddess Diana. In the Gaelic pantheon, you have the Goddess Cailleach. She is the Goddess of creation, she is believed to have created all the mountains in the Celtic region. She over the clans as winter moved through the land, guiding them, protecting them. The Goddess Cailleach is one of the most ancient spirits of the land, and her worship can be found throughout the land. The temple to Cailleach, Taigh na Cailleach, can be found at Glen Cailleach. For thousands, of years, and twice a year at both Beltane and Samhain a festival is held in her honor. At Beltane, the festival starts by removing the stacked stones that seal the entrance of Taigh Na Cailleach, the roof is freshly thatched. The stone statues of the Cailleach, the Bodach (old man), and the Nighean (daughter) are brought outside to remain throughout the summer. At Samhain, the stones are placed back inside the temple before its entrance is blocked up again. We are all cells in the same body of humanity.

As a mom of three boys who go to public school I started to notice that some things were not being taught in detail so I decided to create lessons for them. Many of these lessons cover science, history and of information about Paganism. I share crafts for the all different holidays and cultures as ways that they can learn and have fun at the same time.
