Just like the Gods, we have stages. We are going to be exploring the stages of the male life cycle. In the first stage, you have adolescents, the hunter stage. In this stage, the mind is filled with imagination and exploration. We are going to be connecting with our inner Hunter God. In many Wiccan practices, the Gods are worshiped in triplicate, made up of three forms: the Hunter, the Green Man, and the Wise One. These archetypes are not often associated with the Moon phases, instead, they are associated with the Sun phases, sunrise, solar peak, and sunset. The triple Gods have been worshiped since humans have been on this planet. Throughout ancient Greek, Roman, and Celtic pantheons you can find the different forms of the Gods. In some pantheons the triple Gods were depicted as siblings, or as three separate Gods united as one, or as than three life stages of the same deity. The Hunter is the first phase of life corresponds with the Waxing Moon. The Hunter is in the prime of the awakening of the springtime of his life. He is a watcher of all those in the forest. He is full of exploration and hunting for survival. The Hunter is wild and free to play without judgment, to express his search without fear. The Hunter's energy should be called upon for any magick that you need strength and a fresh start. Rituals for protection, fertilite energy, independence, and initiation magick. The Triple God echos a man's life cycle and embodies the many aspects of his life. In the first stage, you have adolescents, the hunter stage. In this stage, the mind is filled with youth and exploration. In this hunter stage, your state of being is in constant play and exploring nature. Like females, at this time physical changes start changing with our hormones starting to mature. Men's life stages are based on the combination of puberty and life experience. The hunter stage corresponds with the puberty stage of a man's life cycle. When puberty hits you go through both emotional and physical changes. While a female's changes are internal during the maiden stage the male's changes are external. The scrotum and testes begin to enlarge along with the penis. In this stage, the Hunter is starting to become his sexuality. With these strong physical changes so to come hormonal changes. Like the Maiden, the Hunter also experiences strong mood changes and anxieties. With these hormonal changes comes mental and emotional development. In this stage youer, emotional intelligence starts to absorb. Herbs associated with the Hunter are: bay leaves, cypress, lily, palms, delphinium ajacis, anise, apple, sunflowers, dandelions, and hyacthin The crystals associated with the Hunter are amber, sapphire, quartz, citrine, carnelian, lapis lazuli, and agate. Carrying with you connects you with Hunter God's energy. “When boys talked, it sounded like feral dogs barking. They fiended for attention, were always aggressive, and made me wish I could put them down.”

As a mom of three boys who go to public school I started to notice that some things were not being taught in detail so I decided to create lessons for them. Many of these lessons cover science, history and of information about Paganism. I share crafts for the all different holidays and cultures as ways that they can learn and have fun at the same time.
